Avant Garde

There are no other words to describe these over-the-top glamourous creations over at Fenton then 'crazy/sexy/cool'. There's really nothing else out there right now that are on the same caliber as Fenton's jewelry. Quite frankly, all I want to do personally is to wear one of these along with a simple white teeblack cigarette pants

Pop Rocks

I'm back to work at good ol' Nordstrom and I can't help but take double takes at these beautiful stones every time I pass by fashion jewelry. Placed upon bold cuffs or daintily hanging on a long gold chain, both pieces make an excellent statement on their own. Man, am I glad to have my discount back :)

Treasure Treasure Land

Ever since being back home, one thing I have really been missing from LDN are the high quality antique markets--until yesterday...After visiting the Seattle Art Museum (which was wonderful, more on that later), my mom and I wandered down near Pike Place market to window shop and browse and then I had a brilliant discovery! We stopped in an absolute "jackpot" of antiques!I found myself completely overwhelmed (in a good way!) with vintage costume jewelry, art-deco lamps, Louis chairs, colorful artwork, eclectic dinner sets and endless knick-knacks! Here were my favorite finds. I ended up walking home with a classic gold clutch from the 50's as well as convincing my mom to purchase a wonderful wrought-iron Eiffel Tower for the entryway... I will definitely be back soon but I already decided I should start putting aside some money for that fabulous shell-chandelier below...

DIY Summer Attempt #1

I saw this necklace at Anthropologie last May and absolutely fell in love but could not afford the $200 price tag. So today I am going to attempt to recreate this darling nautical piece with $10 worth of pearl beads, navy striped grosgrain ribbon and string from JoAnnes!! I'll letcha know how it goes, I think the last time I beaded necklaces I was in 2nd grade haha.

A Pop of Colour

Today I thought I would share a couple of my favorite spring and summer pieces that would cheer up any wardrobe! There's nothing like a bright colour pair of flats to refresh a favorite outfit-- the new J.crew and Prada summer collections of ballet flats are all absolutely beautiful and refreshing. With such a variety of color, patterns and embellishments, how do you pick only one pair?! I am also loving the DVF romper, such a perfect piece for shopping in the day with flats and cardigan but also darling for a night out in the town with some fun stacked heels or the new modern clog. As for the YSL ring, I think it would be quite a versatile statement piece...such a beautiful shade of green that could instantly add a touch of glamour and actually acts as a fairly neutral shade that would like fabulous with any outfit! As for some colour for your daily intake, why not bake some colourful "fairycakes" for a sweet afternoon treat? Any of these look absolutely delicious, especially if snacking in a fabulous new pair of flats :)

Instant Attraction {Kenneth Jay Lane}

(creeping tough on some prized possessions ha)

Saturday I hit up Portobello Markets to soak up all the goodness for one of the last times. This time I had a chance to spend awhile in Hirst Antiques, which is a one of a kind experience if you are a jewelry fanatic like me! It is absolutely chalkfull of vintage treasures and not just cheap costume jewelry, we're talking vintage Chanel, Dior, and my newest obsession, Kenneth Jay Lane. His pieces are the epitome of statement jewelry and all are beautifully embellished with corals, turquoises and crystals. Do me a favor and just google his name, what you will find will amaze you. Here are just a few of my favorites for today :) I honestly love every piece, especially all his coral and nautical pieces...Diiiiivine!!!

I have only one Saturday left in my home sweet London, meaning only one more day trip to Notting Hill, so heartbreaking! I am not ready to leave this fabulous city, especially now the weather is perking up...I am actually wearing shorts today--it's a miracle :)

Black and White and PERFECTION All Over

I just came across this designer recently when I saw her gorgeous boutique open up the other month but only recently did I go on her website--and died--absolutely died! I have never seen such a beautiful collection of clothing, accessories and jewelry in my life! I think it is because she has all of my favorite elements...graphic prints, stunning statement necklaces, lots of embellishments and class!

Marene Birger is a danish designer with boutiques all over Europe. I have only walked by her store in Marylebone (again on my dangerous walk to class everyday, such a drag having to be continuously surrounded by such beautiful things) and was instantly obsessed how her interiors reflected her garment's style seamlessly.Inside is filled with rich textures, giant crystal chandeliers,a mostly black and white colour palette complete with large vases of fresh flowers throughout the store. Such a perfect canvas to display such chic pieces. For those of you who know what a jewelry fanatic I am, you can only imagine how I almost started drooling when I saw these bold and beautiful numbers below...Yes please!!!
