If this isn't trompe l'oeil, I don't know what is? Simply composed of white painted walls and black markers, it is the most playful architectural backdrop I have ever seen. Now I only need to hop a plane to the Ukraine to see this darling gift shop myself. Design also by Belenko!

European Nostalgia
Here it is, my favorite and my best memories from Europe. Already, these places and experiences are starting to feel more and more distant--especially after draining all my favorite images of color. I am hoping to compile a similar collage like this one here, so I can hold these special places near and dear to me. Nonetheless, being home has made me so incredibly appreciative for all the comforts and luxuries I had left behind in the last year. Traveling around Europe helped me to realize to live life to the fullest wherever we may be located as well to always keep an eye out for beauty within the details...Now it's about time I finally change my darn title block!! Keep a lookout for some changes--I have some ideas up my sleeve :)

YBW Graphics
What a world of difference a splash of yellow can add to your life--you never know when this bright hue may show up. From unexpectedly showing up in your home, spicing up your everyday ensemble or just simply used for a visual graphic. Long live pops of yellow color. Always eye catching. Always classic.

Home on the Range
All Images Courtesy of Elle Decor
This just might be one of my favorite homes EVER. Composed up of stunning sunlit rooms, a classic black and white colour scheme, endless books, glamourous chandeliers and an absolutely beautiful sunroom! And I'm sure the clothes hanging in the closet aren't half bad either...I mean after all is this is the home of legendary designer, Badgley Mischka. I think this is the type of the home that will never go out of style, it has classic American charm, timeless yet modern black and white interior, that acts as a perfect canvas to mix things up. Overall this 'home on the range' is the ideal balance between country and glamour. My favorite detail, is that the outside exterior paint colours are carried seamlessly into the interior. Definitely makes me rethinking living out in the country, if only I was a decent equestrian :)

Black and White and PERFECTION All Over

I just came across this designer recently when I saw her gorgeous boutique open up the other month but only recently did I go on her website--and died--absolutely died! I have never seen such a beautiful collection of clothing, accessories and jewelry in my life! I think it is because she has all of my favorite elements...graphic prints, stunning statement necklaces, lots of embellishments and class!
Marene Birger is a danish designer with boutiques all over Europe. I have only walked by her store in Marylebone (again on my dangerous walk to class everyday, such a drag having to be continuously surrounded by such beautiful things) and was instantly obsessed how her interiors reflected her garment's style seamlessly.Inside is filled with rich textures, giant crystal chandeliers,a mostly black and white colour palette complete with large vases of fresh flowers throughout the store. Such a perfect canvas to display such chic pieces. For those of you who know what a jewelry fanatic I am, you can only imagine how I almost started drooling when I saw these bold and beautiful numbers below...Yes please!!!
