How gorgeous are these facades created by world renown architect Tadao Ando?! Absolutely stunning, I am obsessed with these dazzling walls that incorporated into the simple architecture. The top and bottom images are residences and the middle is a restaurant--I'd be delight to visit either...

Died and Went to Apartment Heaven
I want every everything including the herringbone hardwoods in this shabby chic NYC apartment! Beautifully captured by my favorite photographer, Jamie Beck, who has done a lot of the interiors in the brand new Rue mag...She does a wonderful of capturing sunlight with bright and refreshing images and is always paying attention to the details.

Quick Getaway
How a bout to the Caribbean for a nice little weekend stay at the Viceroy? And when you hear the word Viceroy, you immediately know KWID had something to do with interiors! I have been doing a lot of research on Wearstler the last couple of days in preparation for a design project and she just so happens to me my muse--makes homework quite enjoyable these days. I have to say though this is hotel is definitely my new favorite project of hers. I love how she actually went more simple--embracing raw textures and geometric forms. How gorgeous is that facade?! I wouldn't mind escaping here anytime soon...

Fresh Spin on a Modern Classic
I have always been a fan of anything Eames therefore I was so pleasantly surprised when I logged into Herman Miller the other day to discover these custom designed rockers. And even better they just so happen to be part of a giveaway in November--how convenient...I think this would be a fun DIY to do on your own as well!

Floral Prints + Silk Dresses + Target Prices = One Happy Girl
I am so happy that I can finally invest in a lovely Tucker silk dress compliments of Target! I have always been eyeing the creations of Gaby Basora (designer of Tucker), primarily because she uses lots and lots of feminine floral patterns! However, I decided to mix it up a bit and I snagged the navy tribal silk tie dress yesterday...I think it will be perfect with boots this fall. Target has really been stepping up their game with the collaborations and I couldnt be happier!
I am counting down the days till October 10th, when Mulberry rolls in! I can't wait to get my hands on the luxurious English handbags whoohooo!

Inspiration Overload
After a bit of a blogging hiatus, I am feeling more inspired than ever thanks to the recent launch of Rue Magazine. I am so inspired by the women who put this magazine together, the overall layout, images and interiors are absolutely gorgeous! Looks like Lonny has some definite competition...
What an amazing experience and not to mention immense amount of work to put this fabulous publication into affect! It was so exciting to see the homes of many of my favorite bloggers and designers, I felt like I know them personally after religiously reading many of their blogs.
Which was your favorite home featured? I personally loved seeing Heather Clauson's bachelorette pad as well as Sfgirlbythe bay's vintage flat!
Happy weekend my friends! xoxo

Required Reading
As I was ordering my required text books for this school year, I decided to "treat" myself to a design book that has been at the top of my wish list for quite some time (I mean after all I did receive free shipping as a student so I couldn't say no).
And I'm so glad I did--Vogue Living Houses Gardens People is absolutely breathtaking! I literally could flip through it over and over again, full of the most beautiful images from the most classiest and fabulous people out there. By far the best addition yet to my slowly growing coffee table book collection.
Inspirational Styling
Hi Friends! Sorry for my absence the last week, I was without internet since I just moved back to my apartment and started my senior year! However, I did happen to stumble upon the talented Johnny Miller and instantly was inspired! Miller has quite an array of work from interiors, food, to advertisements for Kate Spade. My favorite are the arrangements of material samples --so fresh and original! I'm definitely wanting to do something like that for an upcoming project.
