Quick Question
How does one acquire a space like this?! This is not your run-in-the-mill standard unit by any means...From personally spending a portion of my day searching all over Craig's list I never even came close to finding something so perfectly distressed and worn in...Well here's to dreaming (and a bit more searching) my friends!

Serendipitous Discovery
Where do all these gorgeous photographs come from you might ask? The belong to Coliena Rentmeester, the eye behind J.Crew, Anthropologie, Elle and many other big name companies!
I randomly discovered her portfolio when I was on a graphic designer's website who just had happened to designed Rentmeester's effortlessly chic website. I was instantly drawn to her typography, feminine photography style and creative photo layouts (such great vintage flair).
Moments earlier I had clicked on graphic designer, Alexa McNae's portfolio because she had designed the branding for the cafe I was at...It's times like these that me so grateful for the blog-world and being able to so easily jump from link to link.
PS: I found a fabulous photography site through Rentmeester--be sure to peep Raybrown for some inspirational fashion styling, as well as this absolutely darling J.Crew video shot in Prague.

Birch Loving
The weather's cooling down, the sun is going down earlier and I'm actually excited to start sporting my fall clothes--it must be the September air! What better way to kick off this autumnal week with a little bit of birch inspiration to get us feeling ready for the upcoming fall.

Inspirational Styling
Hi Friends! Sorry for my absence the last week, I was without internet since I just moved back to my apartment and started my senior year! However, I did happen to stumble upon the talented Johnny Miller and instantly was inspired! Miller has quite an array of work from interiors, food, to advertisements for Kate Spade. My favorite are the arrangements of material samples --so fresh and original! I'm definitely wanting to do something like that for an upcoming project.

Uber Urban Styling
Good Morning Sunshine!
I thought I'd wake up your senses this Wednesday morning with some edgy images from Toogood studios based in good ol' Londontown. I stumbled across this creative studio and immediately was drawn to the strong textures consistently seen throughout the photo shoots. The locations they decided upon are primarily industrial--raw brick and plenty of exposed beams dramatically contrast against the bold textiles and unique furniture. Toogood's clients include *Wallpaper and Elle Decoration magazines as well as window display concepts for Liberty of London, Habitat and Tom Dixon. Major, major names in the British Design Industry.
If you have time, try and check out Toogood and see how their creative process literally unfold from concept to realization! I love seeing other designer's thoughts and ideas come to real life and try to take some of their ways and incorporate into my own. XX
LOVE this concept board--simple yet moving.
Kelley Wearstler and Phillipe Starck both would be proud to see the use of playful proportions applied to everyday objects.
A neat altnative to hand rendered or computer aided perspectives.

Joyful Discovery
I absolutely fell head over heels for the lovely stylist and photographer, Ellen Silverman. Her photos are so crisp, vibrant and uplifting. My favorite detail are the reused Ball canning jars in the first image that are recycled into pendant lighting! Hope these images will help start off your week bright-fully right!
