Love the fall collection of Malene Birger. Full of sequins, satin and thick knits. Too bad the weather isn't quite cool enough to start class tomorrow off in this high of fashion...

Ta-Ta for Now
Happy Weekend Friends! This is my last official weekend before starting senior year on Monday! OH EM GEE, I'm not ready for this--I may need more than 15 minutes!!!

Too Cute
How perfect are all these darling illustrations designed by Clare Owens?! I want one of each hanging in my apartment right now! I wonder if she is the illustrator featured in Lonny? Her style seems so similar, especially in the first image...

Lonny Goes to Londontown II
When I saw this portobello shoot in Lonny, I was blown away by how similiar of pictures I have from my own visits to Portobello almost every Saturday. Take a look at some my favorite finds here, here and here. Ohhh, how I wish I could go explore this infamous antique market right now, it was definitely one of my favorite spots in London!

Dream Job Spotted
Thanks to Julie's post on Coco+Kelley today, I discovered Jeffers Design group. As I am about to begin to enter my senior year in college, I am always akeeping my eyes and ears open to great design firms. Jeffers Design group seems right up my alley.
Located in San Francisco (top notch location) and owned by Jay Jeffers whose style is described "sophisticated yet fun", just like their design studio--take a look!
Ooohh, work place into event venue--loving this multifunctional space!
Lonny Goes to Londontown
I was absolutely thrilled to see designer, Cath Kidston's place featured in this month's issue of Lonnymag. Cath Kidston was one of my favorite UK discoveries. Kidston is 100% dainty and floral, her bright, cheery prints cover everything from Ipod cases to soaps, luggage, pencils, keychains--the list goes on and on.
I personally invested in a darling, (as well as heavy-duty) weekend travel bag for all my short European getaways. It will definitely be a piece I will have forever as well as forever remind me of my fabulous adventures!
When I saw Kidston's home, it looked exactly what I would picture it. Heavy uses of red with touches of powder blue accents--just like her logo and her store is designed. She is a definite English icon (similiar to how Vera Bradley is to us and especially of the East Coast style) and I love how here home is nothing less of everything she loves--lots and lots of different floral patterns and bright color!

Farewell, So Long Summertime 2010
Oh man, summer how did you escape me so quickly?! It was only yesterday I landed in Seattle after being in the UK for 6 months and now I am already back to school?!
I can't believe I only have one year left in college before I am out in the real world...I better make this one for the books :)

Feminine Branding
I'll take one of each from the lovely ladies at Seesaw design! I love how refreshingly simple and carefree their designs are but still 100% unique.

Here is a sample of some upcoming fall trends from the divine Matches boutique, located in London. Quite equestrian with true fall colours no?
Hittin' the Books
I have noticed quite a trend this week, with lots of bloggers being inspired by classic reads & vintage book covers. I don't know if thats a sign that summer is almost over and it is time for be to head back to school and quite literally be "hitting the books".
Oh well, I really don't think I would mind if any of my required text books happened to look like any of the images above...

European Nostalgia
Here it is, my favorite and my best memories from Europe. Already, these places and experiences are starting to feel more and more distant--especially after draining all my favorite images of color. I am hoping to compile a similar collage like this one here, so I can hold these special places near and dear to me. Nonetheless, being home has made me so incredibly appreciative for all the comforts and luxuries I had left behind in the last year. Traveling around Europe helped me to realize to live life to the fullest wherever we may be located as well to always keep an eye out for beauty within the details...
Now it's about time I finally change my darn title block!! Keep a lookout for some changes--I have some ideas up my sleeve :)
