A Healthy Dose of D&F

Now that I'm back online it's only natural that I post some true dainty with a dash of floral inspiration plus I mostly just love this branding of this Brooklyn florist's website...

 

With these vivid images it's only natural to transition into these lush images composed by my alltime favorite style/graphic designer/girl crush blogger (can you tell I'm her biggest fan? ha), Miss Moss...How ingenious are these collages? Absolutely love!

And just because this recent local discovery can tag right along with the flora and fauna theme, I'm going to show a few images of this delightful flower shop, Marigold & Mint. It is integrated within the Melrose Market which just so happens to have been designed by favorite NW architect right now, Graham Baba. Be sure to check it out if you ever in Seattle!

I think I have re-fallen in love with florals, if that is even possible! I revisited Emersonmade just now while taking a break from re-organizing my disaster of a room. I literally could not sit still looking at all these amazing HOMEMADE floral necklaces, corsages and clutches! All I could ever want in my life is all on this website! Emerson is officially my new fashion muse, I adore every outfit she pieces together. The flowers are simple but the way she pairs them with a navy striped tee shirt or old vintage blazer is a genius twist on an old classic. Her blog is so fun and straight to the point with quirky captions and beautiful images of her and her husband playing around on their farm (they traded in the Big Apple for a green, luscious farm--aww the simple life). Looking at her creations makes me want to sprint to Joann's right now and start crafting up some bright, floral clutches and necklaces--she makes it look way too easy! What great summer DIY inspiration as well as fabulous gifts :)

It is official this time--I do believe spring is here and here to stay! I knew it was here to stay after this weekend's trip to Anthropolgie where I saw the brightest of prints, fun summer dishes and not a sweater or jacket in sight. I forget how at home this place makes me feel :)

After months of living in the beautiful city of London, I have to say I think I only saw the sun's appearance a mere 3 times. This week has been absolutely beautiful with 50 and 60 degrees outside and my epic discovery of Regent's Park which is now my official London haven.

Regents Park is honestly a true hidden gem, centrally located in London you can truly get lost for weeks between the beautifully landscaped gardens, the boating lake and sprawling green fields that seem like such a rare find in London!

I can definitely say I have never been so excited to see sunshine and parks--I had no idea what I have been missing these last couple of months. I have a feeling the next couple of months here are going to be seen in a new light--no pun intended :)

Now I just got to have some of my sundresses Fedexed over but until then I may just have to creep on J.Crew and Anthropologie...
